Job Description
Kaiser is seeking a Chemical Dependency Recovery Counselor III to provide essential addiction therapy and counseling services to patients and their families. This part-time role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and participating in case conferences, all aimed at supporting individuals on their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities
Answers and triages patient calls for information, Tx services, general CD advice
Provides higher level assessment for various diagnoses and crises
Performs intake and psychosocial assessments
Develops and presents treatment plans to the treatment team
Participates in clinical case conferences
Conducts chemical dependency focused educational lectures
Provides individual and group counseling services
Provides therapy for adolescents, significant others, families, and multi-family groups
Provides case management services
May mentor junior counselors and interns
Required Qualifications
Minimum of two (2) years post-graduate relevant supervised addiction medicine therapy experience within the last five (5) years
Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or other field related to behavioral health
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) OR Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California) OR Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California)
