Job Description

Join Quill, a leader in office supplies, as a Business Development Representative focused on driving new revenue in the Philadelphia, PA area. This remote role emphasizes customer engagement, sales strategy development, and building meaningful client relationships, while promoting an inclusive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive conversion of 1M new revenue from new customers
  • Build territory penetration strategy and analyze individual performance
  • Qualify prospects based on customer size and potential
  • Schedule appointments and present Quill values to customers
  • Utilize marketing collateral for presentations
  • Attend conferences and events to represent Quill
  • Create and present custom pricing solutions
  • Leverage education contracts to acquire new customers
  • Ensure smooth transition to account management upon customer commitment
  • Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly quotas
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM
  • Seek continuous improvement and share best practices
  • Positively impact team culture and work collaboratively

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma/GED
  • 4+ years of field sales experience
  • Required travel within territory based on appointments, customer needs and conferences, approximately 50% travel

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 months+ of relevant experience in the public sector market
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proven business development experience
