Director of Cathode Technology Development
Redwood Materials is in pursuit of our Director, Cathode Technology Development. This position will be a core member of our world-class engineering leadership team focused on developing the next generation of cathode active materials (CAM). We're seeking a hands-on technical leader to help develop processes and equipment to drive our company and industry well beyond what exists today. The emphasis is on leading the development of new processes for scaling-up and manufacturing cathode active materials including identifying and developing production technologies. These technologies are key for scaling cost-effective processes that meet the high-quality needs of CAM. You will also build your team while working across all engineering and business functions.
This position is at the center of our activities focused on creating a sustainable circular economy for lithium-ion batteries by transforming recycled materials into cathode materials for new lithium-ion battery production.
Our facility in McCarran, NV includes state-of-the-art analytical and electrochemical capabilities, and pilot plant facilities to produce CAM and pCAM. We are also opening a technology development center in the Bay Area. As a member of the Redwood Materials team, you will be at the center of a rapidly growing company driving to become the world's largest and most sustainable producer of materials for lithium-ion batteries.
