Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Obtain appropriate ingredients from storage areas for recipes
Lift and carry medium to heavy food and equipment
Plan cooking schedule with supervisor and/or dietitian
Confer with dietitians regarding modified diet preparation
Review menu and special orders for food items
Required Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent
Minimum two years of relevant work experience in a hospital setting or large institution
Knowledge of large quantity standards of cooking
Ability to work a variety of shifts and schedules
