As a Steward at Graduate Princeton, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas. Your responsibilities will include cleaning and storing kitchenware, assisting kitchen staff, and ensuring a safe and orderly environment for food preparation.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness of all china, glass, and silver
Assist kitchen staff in maintaining cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas
Heavy duty cleaning of kitchen equipment
Wash pots, pans, and kitchen utensils
Sweep, mop, and wash floors in food and beverage areas
Operate dishwashing equipment
Return clean items to storage locations
Report faulty equipment to management
Empty garbage from Food and Beverage areas
Assist in the setup and breakdown of restaurant buffet
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience in a hotel or related field preferred
Ability to stand during entire shift
Ability to withstand temperature variations
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize
