Modern Healthcare Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Geriatrics Director for a travel nursing job in Windsor, Vermont.

Position Overview:

Plans, coordinates and manages the Resident Services Department.  Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of Resident Services and services provided to the residents. 

Submission Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years current experience in position with management and leadership responsibilities, required
• Geriatric experience Required
• Basic knowledge of and ability to apply Geriatric Nursing principles required
• Familiarity with pertinent Vermont State regulations preferred
• CERNER EMR experience – Required
• ** Additional certification in nursing specialty of Geriatrics - Strongly Preferred (these candidates will have first consideration) **
• Travel experience - Preferred
• BSN (or higher) degree Required
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need

This is a very small unit/facility, rural experience is preferred.  Must be able to work independently/Hit the ground running!

35-bed critical access community hospital located in historical Windsor, Vermont. Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better). Local Travelers - Those who reside within 50 miles of the facility - are not eligible for this need.
