Job Description
Join The Jewish Board as a Licensed Social Worker and make a significant impact in the lives of individuals and families within the community. You will provide vital clinical services, using a trauma-informed approach, in a supportive outpatient mental health clinic focused on enhancing resilience and addressing health disparities.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and psychosocial assessments
Develop treatment plans in collaboration with clients and family members
Provide individual, group, family, and crisis interventions
Liaise with families, schools, and community agencies for care coordination
Maintain documentation according to standards
Participate in clinical meetings and training
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in counseling, creative arts, or social work
New York State License or limited permit in Mental Health Counseling, Creative Arts Therapy, or social work
Preferred Qualifications
Experience treating children or adolescents
Fluency in a second language
