Labor & Delivery RN Job Details

• Unit: Labor & Delivery (L&D)
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
• Start Date: December 8, 2025
• End Date: March 9, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-Hour Nights (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
• On-Call: Schedule determined by facility
• Weekend Schedule: To be determined by facility
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,410 - $2,580

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN license (no license hits) – required for all Arizona nursing jobs
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, PALS (AHA), AFM – all active and from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Flu vaccination required (declinations considered)
• Must not have an Arizona home address on driver's license
• Compliance with facility background requirements
• Resume, skills checklist (less than 1 year old), and license verification (less than 30 days old) required for submission

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit
• Monitor and assess mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Accurately document patient care and clinical interventions
• Respond to emergencies and provide advanced life support as needed
• Educate patients and families on care plans and postpartum care
