Key Responsibilities
Perform duties in various ambulatory settings, including assisting providers with patient care
Handle clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks
Provide information to patients to utilize clinical services
Maintain knowledge of regulatory standards and ensure compliance
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Graduate of a post-secondary medical assisting education program
Current certification from a recognized certifying board
Current BLS/CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications
One year of recent healthcare experience
Electronic health record experience
Experience with EKG, vital signs, venipuncture, capillary, and injections
Excellent organizational, written/verbal communication, and teamwork skills
Outstanding patient experience skills
