Key Responsibilities

  • Operates MRI equipment to produce clinical diagnostic images as directed by physicians
  • Prepares patients and adjusts equipment for MRI procedures
  • Performs MRI procedures accurately and efficiently
  • Assists with staff/student training and orientation
  • Maintains records and reports required for the MRI area

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school
  • Radiography (R) - ARRT certification upon hire
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) - ARRT certification upon hire
  • Less than 1 year of experience in radiologic and MRI terminology, practices, and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of training/experience in MRI
