Job Description
Join Johns Hopkins Medicine as a Coding Education Auditor, where you'll enhance coding quality and compliance in the Inpatient Coding Division. Key Responsibilities
Develop education and coding quality improvement initiatives
Analyze, review, and resolve coding and documentation issues
Perform focused second level coding quality reviews
Document trends of inaccurate coding and compliance risks
Offer recommendations for improvement to maintain coding quality
Assist with coding education and skill development using nThrive DNA system
Conduct research of existing policies and guidelines
Required Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Health Information Management or healthcare-related field
Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification
Minimum of 5 years inpatient coding experience
Preferred Qualifications
RHIT or RHIA credentials
1 year of education, training, and auditing experience
