Key Responsibilities
Performs diagnostic imaging examinations on patients ensuring the production of quality diagnostic images
Ensures accurate patient positioning during radiographic procedures
Implements radiation safety guidelines and conducts proper radiation protection practices
Understands and navigates the electronic medical record (EMR) system
Performs mobile imaging, electrocardiogram (EKG), cardiac monitor placement, and dual energy x-ray absorptiometry (DEXA procedures)
Required Qualifications
Completion of an educational program accepted by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Working knowledge of diagnostic radiographic principles
Licensure with the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board (NDMIRT) if working in North Dakota
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six weeks of employment
Preferred Qualifications
Registry eligible candidates obtaining ARRT within six months of hire
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification may be required at some clinic locations
Driver's license may be required, dependent upon department
