Job Title: Travel Surgical Technologist – Operating Room (CST/OR) Location: Memorial Medical Center, Las Cruces, New Mexico Shift: 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM Assignment Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Overview: Memorial Medical Center is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a daytime travel assignment in the Operating Room. The ideal candidate will have experience assisting in surgical procedures, maintaining sterile environments, and supporting the surgical team in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures
• Ensure all instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready for use
• Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols
• Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient workflow
• Document procedures and maintain accurate records

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) required
• Minimum of one year recent experience in an operating room setting
• Current BLS certification
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a team environment
