Key Responsibilities
Perform x-ray scans of patient's internal anatomy
Position radiographic equipment or x-ray film for imaging
Explain radiographic procedures to patients
Provide patient protection in accordance with radiation safety standards
Maintain x-ray equipment and perform scheduled cleaning/tests
Update patient and study information for billing and RIS/PACS accuracy
Maintain continuing education required for licenses
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an approved American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) program
Current validated Registry from ARRT in Radiology Technology (R)
Preferred Qualifications
ARRT (R), (CT) Preferred
Knowledge of RIS systems
Knowledge of PAC's systems
