Join Zen Educate as a Special Education Paraprofessional for the 2025–2026 school year, where you will support special education students by implementing behavior support plans and ensuring they receive the necessary assistance to thrive. Key Responsibilities
Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) or Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Provide one-on-one or small group support using positive reinforcement and de-escalation strategies
Collaborate with teachers to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
Work closely with teachers, parents, and staff to ensure effective support for students
Support with personal care or hygiene as needed
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
Experience supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to stay calm and patient in challenging situations
English proficiency
U.S. work authorization
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Special Education, particularly with moderate to severe behaviors
ABA Therapy experience
Behavior Technician experience
Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies
CPR and First Aid certification
CPI or Pro Act Training
