Job Description
Join Penske as an Experienced Diesel Technician/Mechanic and advance your career by performing vital maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet. You'll work independently, mentor new technicians, and receive ongoing training in the latest vehicle technologies, all while ensuring safety and reliability for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs
Conduct road tests to diagnose problems
Repair and troubleshoot vehicle components
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Use Penske's tools and technologies for repairs
Learn new skills through training
Complete other assigned tasks
Required Qualifications
3 years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance
Valid driver's license
Ability to solve problems
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work well as part of a team
Basic computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair
Specialized training in diagnosis/troubleshooting
OEM training courses
ASE Certification
608/609 certifications
