Join Disneyland Resort as a Senior Architect, leading the design management for diverse projects across the resort. You'll ensure projects meet Disney's high standards, collaborate with various disciplines, and influence architectural direction while working on exciting attractions, shops, and historic renovations.
Key Responsibilities
Act as Owner’s Representative in design management
Review project concepts with stakeholders
Develop project scopes of work and create RFPs
Coordinate with Facility Assessment Management partners
Manage design and development of construction drawings
Lead design reviews and meetings
Ensure compliance with codes and standards
Update stakeholders on project developments
Coordinate responses to city plan check comments
Provide punch walk feedback and project closeout documentation
Required Qualifications
9+ years professional experience in Architecture
Professional design experience in various project types
Familiarity with all phases of design and construction
Construction Administration experience
Direct experience in preparation of architectural contract drawings
Knowledge of creating code analysis summaries
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Airtable, Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with California Building Code, health codes, CalOSHA, ADA
Experience developing custom details for facility design
Experience presenting complex analyses to executive management
Experience working independently and managing project priorities
