Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with signing in and completing registration
  • Answer incoming phone calls courteously and promptly
  • Enter and scan patients' demographic and insurance information into Epic
  • Coordinate follow-up care for patients
  • Send patient records to primary care physician

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of customer service or healthcare related experience
  • Intermediate level of computer proficiency
  • Ability to travel to other offices if needed
  • Ability to be cross trained as a medical assistant

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience working in medical front office
  • Experience with electronic health records (EPIC)
  • Knowledge of medical terms
  • Knowledge of insurance carriers and managed care plans
  • Bi-Lingual English and Spanish
