Job Description

Join Raytheon as an Effector Production Section Leader, where you'll manage and mentor a team of engineers in the Airborne Effector Production function. You'll play a crucial role in overseeing electronics subsystems development, contributing to national defense through innovative technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor engineers responsible for various programs
  • Guide a section of 15 to 20 AEP engineers
  • Handle hiring, staffing, performance evaluations, mentoring/coaching
  • Approve expense reports and timecards
  • Lead AEP programs with a focus on functional and program tasks

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics
  • Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience with progressing leadership roles
  • Experience with RF subsystem development, including design, analysis, and/or test
  • Experience spearheading a technical team, including roles such as task lead or Engineering Lead

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or Equivalent
  • Practical experience in all phases of the product development lifecycle
  • Experience in troubleshooting electronics systems
  • Coaching, teaching and/or mentoring skills
  • Strong emotional intelligence skills
  • Experience in creation and/or improvement of engineering development processes
  • Excellent track record for working effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and coordination skills
  • Strong engineering development discipline and process advocacy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An active and in-scope DoD Top Secret Clearance
  • The ability to acquire a Special Access Programs Clearance
