Job Description

Join Raytheon as a Principal Product Test Engineer where you'll lead manufacturing projects to enhance testing processes and efficiency. Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot complex hardware issues and drive improvements in production capabilities, ensuring compliance and quality throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and provide rework instructions for product hardware
  • Maintain spares and test equipment obsolescence plan
  • Create Basis of Estimates (BOE) for capacity and capability improvements
  • Lead projects to reduce test time and improve test processes
  • Develop test flows and contribute to test capacity analysis
  • Maintain changes to test equipment technical data package
  • Assist in fault isolation, diagnosis, and repair
  • Lead root cause and corrective action investigations
  • Perform risk assessments and support risk register reviews

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum 8 years relevant experience or an advanced degree with 5 years experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF) clearance
  • U.S. citizenship for security clearance
