Key Responsibilities
Mitigate a variety of medical and surgical cases
Develop trusting relationships with clients
Demonstrate fiscal responsibility and prudent use of resources
Delegate responsibilities to para-professional staff
Work with Medical Director, LCSW and Practice Manager on case selection
Required Qualifications
DVM, VMD, or equivalent degree
Licensure in NYS to practice veterinary medicine
DEA eligible
Internship or 3 years of previous clinical experience in Urgent Care
Demonstrated competency in advanced soft tissue surgery
Strong surgical and diagnostic skills
Ability to work alone
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
