Key Responsibilities
Performs specialized and routine diagnostic radiology procedures
Explains procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain cooperation
Prepares and positions patients for diagnostic imaging procedures
Determines exposure factors and adjusts equipment controls
Operates mobile radiologic equipment in various settings
Assists radiologists in fluoroscopic and special x-ray examinations
Processes images for quality control and prepares them for reading
Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs on radiologic equipment
Trains new hires and students
Required Qualifications
Minimum of two years of experience in a Specialty (CT) OR one year of experience with ARRT Certification
