Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab
Job Details:
• Call schedule working 12-15 days per month
• Rotating call after hours and weekends approximately 50% of the month
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Work in procedure area with 2 cath labs, 1 EP lab and 1 IR Neuro lab
• Operate specialized equipment including Temporary Pacemaker, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Impella, Penumbra, Shockwave, IVUS, IFR and GE mac lab monitoring/Innova imaging
• Use EMR systems Mac Lab/Meditech
• Must have experience in scrubbing and ability to pan for Cath Lab Techs or circulating experience for Cath Lab RN
• Perform diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations, interventional radiology procedures
• Preferred experience in Electrophysiology, Interventional Radiology, or Interventional Neuro
• May float to Emergency Department, Discharge Lounge, or other areas as needed within skill set
• Required certifications: RCIS, ACLS, R.T., ARRT, R.T. (R) ARRT for Techs; RN and ACLS for Nurses
• Dress code requires seal blue scrubs
• Must have assertive personality and work well in fast-paced environment
