The Speech Therapist provides specialized speech and language therapy services to patients, particularly those with serious or terminal illnesses, in a home health care setting. This role requires a Master’s degree, state licensure, CPR certification, and at least two years of multidisciplinary experience. The position involves close collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote communication abilities and quality of life, with daily travel to patient homes.
Overview:We are looking for a Speech Therapist to join our team. The Speech Therapist reports to the Administrator, Executive Director, or Patient Care Manager. Responsible for providing service to patients who have speech and language problems. The Home Therapy Program is provided under the direction of the attending physician by the Speech Therapist with participation by the family, nurse, or other responsible person, as necessary.
