Join Staples' Quill team as an Inside Sales Representative, where you will drive sales, manage customer relationships, and identify growth opportunities within a significant account portfolio. Your expertise in consultative selling and strategic planning will be key in supporting our expanding customer base and delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for sales results for assigned book of accounts (~$8-10M+)
Acquire new business and grow sales while managing current customer base
Map accounts and identify core and specialty category opportunities
Create and maintain a solid understanding of accounts and build strategic growth plans
Utilize enablement tools to keep customer data updated and manage a healthy pipeline
Know products, customers, and vertical markets
Utilize Salesforce regularly
Execute sales strategies through various channels including phone, social selling, and on-site visits
Leverage sales methodologies to retain and grow customer base
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
3+ years sales experience in Account Management and/or Business Development
Must have the availability to travel (up to 4x per year)
Preferred Qualifications
Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
Prior experience working with large complex accounts
Had responsibility for a sales quota and a track record of exceeding quota
Managed a complex deal shaping from start to finish
Experience with business-to-business sales process
Had responsibility to retain and grow accounts
