Key Job Details – Maryland Travel Nursing Opportunity

• Location: Bel Air, Maryland 21014
• Unit: 3W Cardiac Telemetry
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/1/2025 – End: 3/2/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 3 shifts per week, every other weekend required
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1790–$1920
• Patient Population: Adult cardiac patients (Daily census: 25, 30 beds)
• Orientation: 48 hours

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or Compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Telemetry nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only)
• NIHSS certification
• Proficiency with electronic charting systems
• Ability to float within hospital units as needed
• Two professional references (one supervisor/manager and one charge RN)
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility

Cardiac Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients with cardiac diagnoses, stroke/TIA, and stable post-cardiac cath cases
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry remotely using Hicuity System
• Administer and manage specialty drips (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Heparin, Protonix, Lasix – non-titratable)
• Perform central and peripheral line care, IV starts, and ongoing maintenance
• Implement isolation precautions and oxygen therapy (Nasal Cannula, CPAP/BIPAP, oxygen tanks)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, and rapid response
• Participate in rapid response and code teams as needed
• Float to other nursing units within scope of experience
