• Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $2410 - $2580 per week

Travel Nurse Job Details

• Assignment Length: 16–32 weeks
• Healthcare Setting: Large, teaching hospital (Operating Room – CVOR)
• Start Date: December 15, 2025
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (days/evenings); call and weekend rotation required
• Hours per Week: 36
• Holiday Coverage: Work 2 out of 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year's Day)
• Possible Float: May float to Fanny Allen Ambulatory Campus; flexibility required
• Orientation: Bi-weekly on Mondays

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Vermont or compact state
• BLS certification required; CNOR certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR nursing experience in a large, teaching hospital
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Circulate experience required; scrub experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable)
• Strong clinical skills in ortho, robotics, general surgery, ENT, plastics, and neuro
• Reliable transportation required (public transportation not accessible; personal or rental vehicle recommended)

CVOR Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver expert perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Circulate and scrub in CVOR cases as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams in a dynamic, teaching hospital environment
• Float to other surgical units as required
• Participate in call and weekend rotations
• Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical setting
