Job Description

Join Optum as a Senior Tech Support Specialist, where you will provide essential technical support that enhances health outcomes globally. Your role will involve troubleshooting, maintaining hardware and software, and educating end-users, all while working in a dynamic, inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to internal and external customers
  • Troubleshoot and respond to Help Desk requests
  • Set up and maintain hardware and software
  • Educate end-users on resolving hardware and software problems
  • Monitor stock levels of hardware and submit requests for equipment
  • Provide on-site technical support for video conference software and hardware
  • Evaluate applications and software patches for desktop applications
  • Maintain a working inventory of most used items for desktop support

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience working in an IT field
  • ~6+ months of experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift hours or overnight
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree
  • 6+ months of experience in a desktop support environment
