Job Description

As a Client Relationship Manager at Cognizant, you will play a crucial role in managing client accounts within the Banking & Financial Services sector. You will be responsible for optimizing resources, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving business growth through strategic partnerships and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders
  • Understand client environment, issues, and priorities
  • Co-create solutions with clients
  • Drive RFPs and proactive bids for renewals and expansions
  • Track BFS industry trends and propose solutions
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for clients
  • Responsible for backlog growth including renewals and extensions

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a client-facing role in a consulting firm or account management role in IT professional services
  • Experience managing Client P&L of $15+ Million dollars
  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively with business stakeholders up to the C-Suite
  • Ability to interface at all levels of an organization
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and executive presentation and persuasion skills
  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS or MBA degree
  • Strong background in a project environment and application development in the BFS vertical
  • Proven ability to contribute to new business development efforts
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage complex assignments
  • Demonstrable problem-solving abilities with strategic insights
  • Flexibility to work among diverse corporate environments and audiences
