As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Campbell County Health, you will provide direct nursing care to residents while supervising daily nursing activities. Your role is essential in ensuring high-quality care and communication among residents, their families, and healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate resident care with other departments
Communicate changes in resident’s condition
Perform administrative duties such as completing medical documents
Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required
Complete accident/incident reports
Evaluate adequate supplies are available
Ensure resident abuse does not occur
Provide treatments and care to medically complex residents
Attend care plan meetings
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
Respond to all resident call lights
Coordinate with outside agencies
Assist with training supervision for nursing personnel
Make rounds to evaluate quality of care
Respond to resident and family grievances
Maintain confidentiality and rights of resident information
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Wyoming LPN license
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of long-term care and skilled nursing state and federal regulations
