Job Description
Join Cargill as an HVAC Mechanic and be part of a dedicated team focused on providing high-quality food products. In this full-time role, you'll maintain and repair HVAC systems while ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate heavy machinery or computer programs
Perform general repairs and maintain equipment
Conduct daily set-up of area
Troubleshoot issues
Perform lock out tag out and other safety procedures
Document daily logs and reports
Maintain cleanliness and safety in the working environment
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Legal to work in the US
18 yrs old or older
Read, write, and speak English
Basic math including fractions and algebra
Knowledge of basic tools and maintenance related subjects
Ability to write and read in the prevalent language of technical literature
Willingness to participate on various teams such as HAZMAT
Ability to attain refrigeration/Caro and Ciro certifications
Preferred Qualifications
Previous Cargill experience
Computer skills
Previous ammonia refrigeration or PSM experience
