Key Responsibilities
Conduct advanced design weight estimation for proposals and trade studies
Perform estimation and verification of mass, center of gravity, and inertias
Provide configuration guidance for vehicles or systems
Support Mass Properties control and management plan execution
Coordinate with SMEs on design weight impacts
Develop and present weight status data to teams and customers
Maintain the mass properties database and generate reports
Review detail and installation drawing processes
Support development of center of gravity envelopes
Implement new processes and tools for design improvement
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
5+ years of work related experience with a Bachelor’s or 3+ years with a Master’s or equivalent experience with a PhD
Mass Properties experience
Experience with 3D solid modeling software applications (e.g. NX, Catia, CADD)
Experience with three-dimensional parametric modeling using NX/Teamcenter or CATIA/ENOVIA
