Duration: 13 weeks  

Shift: Day – 3x12-Hour (07:00–19:30)  

Weekly Guarantee: 36 hours

About the Role This role involves caring for adolescent through geriatric patients in a Level III Trauma unit. Candidates must be clinically proficient, highly adaptable, and committed to delivering high-acuity care in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing to patients with complex medical conditions
• Manage arterial lines, IV drips, ventilators, vasoactive medications, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Document care using Epic electronic health record system
• Float to PCU as needed based on census and staffing needs
• Participate in holiday and weekend coverage as required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (New Hampshire or compact state)
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA required)
• Experience with Epic charting and arterial line management
• Must have own vehicle for commuting between facilities
• Permanent address must be included in submission profile

Preferred Skills

• Charge nurse or preceptor experience
• Strong clinical judgment and adaptability
• Effective communication and teamwork skills

Scheduling & Compliance Notes

• No block scheduling or grouped shifts permitted
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with initial profile; max 5 days allowed

• Must be available to work two of the following holiday periods:

  • Thanksgiving and weekend after
  • Christmas Eve/Day and weekend after
  • New Year’s Eve/Day and weekend after
