Key Responsibilities
Directs daily activities within the department
Facilitates employee orientation and training
Performs area specific QA/QC procedures
Performs radiographic procedures in accordance with ALARA concept
Assists physicians with radiographic procedures
Maintains patient records
Performs patient care functions in a safe environment
Adheres to hospital and departmental policies
Interacts effectively with all customers
Assists staff and students in radiographic procedures
Participates in the evaluation of staff and students
Assists with patient transportation and basic clerical duties
Required Qualifications
Certificate of completion/Degree from an Accredited Radiograph Program
Minimum of 3 years clinical experience
Biennial completion of minimum required CE credits
Must be licensed by the NJDEPE
Credentialed in radiograph and mammography by the ARRT
Current ARRT - American Registry Radiology Tech License
Current NJ-RADTECH - NJ Radiology Tech License
CPR certification
