Job Description
Join Amazon as a Commissioning Engineer, where you'll tackle critical infrastructure challenges in a fast-paced environment. You'll oversee testing and validation of AWS data center systems, working collaboratively with diverse teams to ensure quality and efficiency in operations. Your role will be pivotal in delivering high standards of safety and security while fostering an inclusive culture.
Key Responsibilities
Provide testing and validation oversight of AWS data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure
Review design documents and equipment submittals
Lead Factory Witness Testing (FWT)
Manage third-party commissioning vendors during onsite testing
Report commissioning progress and metrics to the Regional Commissioning Manager
Audit Cx vendors’ activities for compliance with environmental, quality, and safety requirements
Required Qualifications
5+ years of engineering, installation, or startup/commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or 5 years of relevant discipline work experience
High technical competency in mechanical or electrical or control systems utilized in critical infrastructures
Ability to understand design concepts and intent by reviewing design documentation and providing feedback
Ability to develop and review commissioning documentation such as test plans, scripts and reports
Preferred Qualifications

Detail oriented and highly organized
Ability to work in high stress environments
Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and controls systems for critical infrastructures
Experience developing and executing test procedures for mechanical or electrical systems/components
