• Unit: 3 West – Adult Medical-Surgical/Sub-Specialty Telemetry
• Start Date: December 29, 2025
• End Date: March 30, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: Rotating Day/Night, 3x12-hour shifts weekly (07:00–19:30 & 19:30–07:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1590 - $1710
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Charting System: Cerner
• Scrub Color: Ceil blue (not provided)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Active Registered Nurse license in Maryland or compact state
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Proficiency with Cerner charting system
• Must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam (80% overall, 100% on lethal rhythms)
• Experience with cardiac monitoring, telemetry, IV therapy, phlebotomy, 12-lead EKG, and ventilator management
• Ability to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Two supervisor references required
• Preferred: Previous charge nurse experience, community hospital, LTAC, and trauma experience

RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with medical, surgical, cardiac, and complex needs
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond to emergencies
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform phlebotomy
• Care for ventilated patients and manage chronic ventilator cases
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (PT, RT, pharmacy, and more)
• Accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR
• Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed
• Work every other weekend and holiday as required
• Follow infection control and safety protocols, including COVID-19 precautions
