Job Description

Join Beckman Coulter Diagnostics as a Senior Staff Global Supplier Quality Engineer for Metals, where you will lead supplier quality initiatives, drive strategic partnerships, and ensure high-quality component delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance supplier performance and support global manufacturing objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive supplier quality strategies aligned with key commodity sourcing objectives
  • Independently lead quality workshops and supplier development initiatives
  • Manage and execute supplier audits, qualifications, and performance assessments
  • Serve as a strategic quality leader throughout the supplier lifecycle
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across R&D, Procurement, Operations, Quality, and Regulatory Affairs

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical field with 14+ years' experience or master’s degree with 12+ years of experience or Doctoral degree with 9+ years of experience
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in supplier quality engineering or supplier development within international manufacturing environments
  • Deep expertise in quality systems and tools, including risk management, CAPA, APQP, PPAP, FAI, and statistical analysis methodologies
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in FDA-regulated industries or medical device manufacturing environments
  • Professional certifications such as CQE, CQA, Six Sigma, or equivalent credentials in quality or process improvement
  • Working knowledge of regulatory standards, including ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 820
