How you'll contribute

An Occupational Therapist (OT) who excels in this role will:


  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients needing to develop, recover and maintain occupational skills.

  • Assess patient's ability to safely and effectively perform occupational skills. Designs the appropriate plan of care, including type and frequency of treatment.

  • Implement the treatment plan using appropriate modalities.

  • Document subjective and objective findings of patient progress. Monitors and modifies the plan of care as needed. Seeks consultation as necessary.

  • Educate the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.

  • Plan and/or assist with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment setting. Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs.

  • Supervise and delegate the care provided by certified occupational therapy assistants and therapy technicians according to established licensing laws, state regulations and practice standards.

    What we're looking for

    Applicants must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy. Additional requirements include:

  • Current State Licensure as an OT in the state of Texas

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
