• Hours per Week: 40 hours
• Shift: 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM (8-hour day shifts)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1810 - $1950
• On-Site Position

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Stepdown, Telemetry, or acute care nursing
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from cardiac events, surgeries, or procedures
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, telemetry, and vital signs
• Administer medications and manage IV drips as ordered by physicians
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on cardiac care, recovery, and discharge instructions
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
