Maintenance Technician Pocono Mountain Villas by Exploria Resorts - Bushkill, PA. Full Time-$17.00/Hour Responsibilities and Duties: - Provides exceptional service to all guests and potential guests by assisting them in a friendly and efficient way.
- Performs necessary repairs and preventive maintenance tasks in a manner responsive to guest satisfaction and to preservation of Company assets in a safe, cost- effective manner.
- Requires advanced knowledge of maintenance skills.
- Requires ability to handle all aspects of hotel/resort maintenance.
- Requires general knowledge of building maintenance to include minor electrical repair, appliance repair, plumbing, and dry wall repair.
- Requires self-motivation and organizational skills.
- Requires ability to be available for emergency repairs.
- Will possess the ability to prioritize a rapidly changing task list for the satisfaction of our guests.
Qualifications Qualifications and Skills: - Requires minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities, maintenance, or related field is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid Driver's License
Required Competencies: - Must be punctual, dependable and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work under pressure and take initiative in a fast paced environment.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Communicate effectively in English
Physical Demands: - Work outdoors for extended periods of time
- Constant standing with some walking.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up 50 pounds
