Job Description
Join Raytheon's mechanical design team as a Senior Principal Engineer specializing in Low Observable technology. Utilize your expertise in stealth systems to tackle significant challenges that enhance national security. Collaborate within a dynamic team to drive projects from conceptual design to testing and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Design, analyze, and test stealth technology
Perform RCS predictions and document results
Support integrated product teams in design efforts
Prepare test documentation and analyze data
Present results to internal and external stakeholders
Occasional travel for business and training
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Ten (10) years of engineering experience including Low Observable (LO) technology or Radar Cross Section or Computational Electromagnetic Codes (CEM)
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
U.S. citizenship
Preferred Qualifications
Experience testing LO targets on ground plane ranges
Knowledge of absorber material treatments/design and testing
Experience with RF testing techniques and equipment
Understanding of electromagnetic fundamentals
Experience with Infrared signature analysis and control
Programming expertise in C++, MATLAB, or other technical languages
Advanced radar system development or test experience
Strong presentation and communication skills
