Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and analytical support in a consulting environment

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6+ years of P&C Actuary experience
  • Successfully passed 5 actuarial exams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in an insurance company or consulting environment
  • Experience leading medium to large sized teams
  • Proficiency using computer software such as Excel, Word, Access, and VBA
  • Competency in Statutory/GAAP reporting, regulation, and compliance
  • Knowledge of actuarial standards of practice
  • Experience with SAP, FASB, GASB and related accounting principles
  • Familiarity with standard and advanced reserving methods
  • Understanding of pricing and cost allocation methods
  • Knowledge of insurance/reinsurance company operations
  • Experience in product development
  • Data sources/modeling expertise
