Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement clinical treatment programs for members with mental illness.
Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
Conduct psychological assessments and maintain ongoing confidential records.
Collaborate with physicians on psychotropic medication evaluations.
Provide clinical supervision to psychology interns and residents.
Participate in departmental program development and evaluation.
Required Qualifications
PhD/PsyD/EdD in Clinical Counseling, Health or School Psychology from an accredited college or university.
Psychologist License (California) within 6 months of hire.
National Provider Identifier required at hire.
Familiarity with DSM-V for diagnosis.
Experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a broad range of psychiatric conditions.
Knowledge of Evidence-Based Practice and psychotherapy research methods.
Knowledge of bio-psycho-social functions contributing to mental health.
Competence in individual, family, and group psychotherapy.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous clinical responsibility including crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy.
Experience in psychological evaluations of adults, children, adolescents, and families.
Demonstrated professional maturity and ethical integrity.
Demonstrated commitment to quality of service and teamwork.
Accuracy in diagnosing patients and developing effective treatment plans.
