Job Description
As a Navy Chaplain, you will provide spiritual support to Sailors and Marines, guiding them through their most joyful and difficult moments. You will conduct worship services, perform religious ceremonies, and offer counseling, all while enjoying benefits like free health insurance and housing.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct worship services in various settings
Perform religious rites and ceremonies such as weddings, funerals, and baptisms
Counsel individuals seeking guidance
Oversee religious education programs
Provide spiritual guidance and care to hospitalized personnel and their families
Train lay leaders for religious education programs
Promote attendance at religious services, retreats, and conferences
Advise leaders regarding morale, ethics, and spiritual well-being
Required Qualifications
U.S. citizen or equivalent
Graduate degree in theological or related studies from an accredited institution
Two years of full-time religious leadership experience
Ability to obtain an Ecclesiastical Endorsement from a registered religious faith organization
