Job Description
Join New Directions Mental Health as a Child and Adolescent Therapist, where you will impact the lives of young clients in a supportive environment. Collaborate with a dedicated team to provide tailored mental health care and engage in continuous professional development.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families
Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy
Develop comprehensive crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans
Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning
Complete billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms
Engage in collaborative care with the clinical team
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field
Experience working with children and families
Provisional license if required by state regulation
Educational background that leads to or has resulted in professional licensing
Passion for mental health and commitment to high-quality care
Dedication to ongoing professional development
Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
Strong commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality
Excellent communication skills
Time management skills
