Job Description
Join BioLife Plasma Services as a Plasma Center Technician where you'll contribute to life-changing medicine by screening donors and performing phlebotomy. This role emphasizes customer service and quality as you ensure the safety of our donors while working in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Answer phones and greet donors
Screen new and repeat donors
Record donor vital signs and finger stick results
Use the Donor Information System and prepare donor charts
Maintain accurate records and coordinate donor compensation
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in center processes
Work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach
Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting up to 32 lbs.
Fine motor coordination and depth perception
Ability to hear equipment from a distance
1 or more years of experience in a customer or patient-facing role
