As a Clinical Nurse (RN) in the PCU, you will coordinate patient care and ensure quality service while adhering to unit standards. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the age of the patient population
Ensure quality care is provided efficiently and safely
Demonstrate performance consistent with the mission and goals of the unit and organization
Treat staff, physicians, patients, and families with respect
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing
Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
BLS Certification required or within 2 weeks of hire
Current knowledge and skills appropriate to age/type of patient population served
Knowledgeable and sensitive to patients’ rights in the delivery of care
Ability to communicate in a clear concise manner appropriate to the developmental age of patient
