Key Responsibilities
Administers the nursing program in a long term care facility
Facilitates optimization of the geriatric care process
Responsible for overall quality of care provided by nursing personnel
Advises medical staff and administrators on nursing service matters
Monitors operations of nursing staff for compliance with regulations
Schedules staff and conducts employee performance reviews
Provides nursing care to residents as needed
Develops and implements marketing activities/programs
Manages day-to-day operations of the long-term care facility
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing
Five years nursing experience
Currently holds an unencumbered RN license
Thorough knowledge of the nursing practice act and standards of nursing care
Preferred Qualifications
Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
Housing with Services experience
Knowledge of administrative and management techniques
