Crewing Coordinator

Description

Our client, an offshore wind subcontractor, is seeking a Crewing Assistant/Coordinator to join their US team. This is a contract position working out of their office in Providence, RI. We are looking for a motivated and sharp candidate who is eager to learn in a dynamic environment working with personnel from all over the world.

Responsibilities

As Crewing Assistant, you are responsible for managing & uploading crew documentation in the online system/portal that is being used for crew validation to go offshore. You will operate as a middleman between all manning agencies/crewing coordinators involved with crew movement on this project to ensure only fully complaint crew are mobilized to offshore located vessel.

• Ensure crew complies with the MCC induction requirements training and medical related certificates of the joining crew;
• Admin and point of contact to the Employer for the MCC introduction system and interface with CIS;
• Responsible for all training and certification related matters for the crew;
• Managing the shared Project Crewing e-mail account;

Requirements

• Must be within commutable distance of Providence, RI
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Technology literate
• Experience in a similar position or exposure to maritime industry preferred
