Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive diagnostic echocardiography imaging
Ensure patient-centered care during echocardiograms
Prepare preliminary echo reports
Participate in outreach clinics and call duties
Collaborate with team members for optimal patient care
Assist with equipment maintenance and quality control
Engage in continuing education

Required Qualifications

1 to 9 years of experience in inpatient/outpatient cardiac ultrasound
Graduate of a two-year Allied Health Training Program in Ultrasound Technology or equivalent
New Mexico State Licensure under the New Mexico Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Program (NMRTT)
Current BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited program in cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography)
ARDMS or CCI credential in specialties including RDCS (AE), PE, RCS, RCCS, and RDCS (FE)
ACS certification
